The family of a man killed in an Indiana motorcycle accident has filed an Indiana wrongful death lawsuit against the police officer who caused the crash.

FOX 59 reports that the family has requested damages of $700,000, which is the maximum allowed by law. The family is seeking the money to cover medical bills and loss of income after the Indiana motorcycle accident.

The victim died when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by the intoxicated police officer. Along with the officer, the City of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Metro Police Department have been named in the Indiana motorcycle accident lawsuit.

Indianapolis auto accident results in teen’s death

Police are still looking for the person responsible for an Indianapolis auto accident that resulted in one teen’s death and another teen’s injury, FOX 59 reports.

The Indianapolis auto accident happened when an unknown driver hit an SUV stopped at a red light.

The impact of the Indianapolis auto accident almost rolled the SUV over on its side and partially ejected a passenger. The 16-year old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the Indianapolis auto accident. The driver was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries.

The driver who caused the Indianapolis auto accident fled the scene on foot. Police believe alcohol was involved because many alcohol containers were found in the car.

Widow seeks $5 million in South Bend wrongful death lawsuit

The Republic reports that the widow of an Indiana police corporal has asked the judge for a default judgment against the other driver in this South Bend wrongful death lawsuit.

The victim was killed when his police cruiser was struck by another car. His widow is seeking a $5 million settlement. The man who caused the accident is already serving a 31-year sentence for his role in the South Bend auto accident. He was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine when the accident occurred.

Officer involved in South Bend auto accident

A police officer was involved in a South Bend auto accident but walked away uninjured, WSBT reports.

The rookie officer was responding to a call and told investigators that he had his lights activated, but his siren was not on.

The officer was traveling on Lincoln Way West when the light changed from green to red. The officer said he tried to brake, but his car slid because of the slick road conditions, and he struck another vehicle.

The officer was taken to the hospital for a standard test to check for intoxication. The results showed that the offer was not intoxicated.
