Overview
Jacob Bowman is Stewart and Stewart’s newest litigation attorney, joining the firm in 2020. He focuses his legal work on representing those involved in personal injury incidents including automobile collisions, dog bites, and premises liability cases.
As a Central Indiana native, Mr. Bowman graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2017 with a B.S. in Public Affairs Management and two minors in Business and Marketing. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Bowman served on the board of a number of professional clubs, worked as in-house legal counsel at a multi-national corporation, defended indigent clients as part of the legal clinic, and was a member of the law review.
Before joining Stewart and Stewart, Mr. Bowman served as a law clerk for Judge Matthew Hanson of the Morgan County (Indiana) Circuit Court and worked for a small law firm in South-Central Indiana, focusing on criminal defense and personal injury litigation.
Mr. Bowman is admitted to practice before all Indiana State courts and the Southern District of Indiana.
Outside of the office, Mr. Bowman enjoys working out, playing golf, hunting, fishing, and cheering for the Indiana Hoosiers!
