Couple injured in Anderson auto accident

The Herald Bulletin reports that two people were injured when a vehicle crashed into their home in an Anderson auto accident.

Police report that the vehicle was traveling at approximately 50-60 miles per hour when it crashed into the front of a home and stopped 14 feet inside the house. Two occupants of house were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries suffered in the Anderson car accident.

The vehicle was traveling down Iroquois Street which dead ends into Seminole Drive. The vehicle appeared to accelerate and continued straight into the house across the street. The driver of the vehicle involved in the Indiana car accident was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
