A three-vehicle Gary truck accident shut down traffic in both directions of toll road I-90, the Sun Times reports.
A truck was traveling east when the driver mistakenly thought he saw a deer in the road. The driver prepared himself to hit the animal, but at the same time was entering an S curve and over-corrected the truck, he struck the median and the vehicle began to flip in the Gary truck accident.
The second trailer flipped over into the westbound lanes. A truck then collided with the wreckage in the westbound lanes, and another vehicle struck the wreckage and then hit the median.
Three men were transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries suffered in the Gary truck accident.
