A fleeing driver causes Gary auto accident

An Indiana man faces numerous criminal charges, including driving without a valid license, resisting law enforcement, and traffic offenses after he tried to flee the police and caused a Gary auto accident.

The Gary auto accident happened after a police officer tried to pull the driver over. The driver fled the officer, crossed an intersection, crashed into another vehicle, and stopped after impacting a nearby house.

According to The Gary Post-Tribune, the driver who caused the Gary auto accident was taken to Methodist Hospitals Northlake campus for treatment of numerous injuries.
