Man injured in South Bend auto accident

A 28-year-old man was injured in a South Bend car accident, according to WSBT-TV.

Police were called to the scene when the Indiana auto accident victim knocked on the door of a house looking for help. Police believe the driver ran off the road and hit a tree. They found a Ford Bronco with a tree branch through the windshield, parked near the railroad tracks near Grandview Avenue.

The man was listed in serious condition following the South Bend auto accident. Police found open containers of alcohol and a small bag of marijuana in the vehicle.
