The Indianapolis Star reports a second person has died following an Indianapolis car accident.  The head on collision happened on I-70 around 6pm on Sunday.

The first victim was the driver of a Chevy Malibu headed westbound at the time of the accident. A ford pickup truck crossed the median and hit the car head on. There were four passengers in the Malibu at the time of the Indianapolis auto accident. One of the passengers was the second victim of the accident to die.

According to police, the driver of the pick-up might have blown a tire before the Indiana auto accident occurred. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
