Drunk driving is illegal, yet it remains a major cause of auto accidents. WISH-TV reports that a drunk driver was the cause of this Indianapolis auto accident.

A 26-year-old female was driving north in the Southbound lanes of East Street when she struck a police vehicle causing the Indianapolis auto accident.

Police said the driver struck the police car and continued driving, in spite of attempts by Indianapolis police officers to get her to pull over.
