Indiana family files wrongful death suit

According to the Post-Tribune, the family of a Methodist Hospitals’ Alzheimer’s patient, who died in February, has filed a wrongful death claim against the hospital.

The 83-year-old Gary wrongful death victim wandered away from her room in the Indiana hospital and was later found dead; her body was found nearly one mile down the road.

Family members of the patient blame the hospital for gross negligence in the death of their relative.

A ruling has been yet to be made in the Gary wrongful death case.
