Sentence upheld for woman who caused fatal Indiana auto accident while high on drugs

The Herald Bulletin reported that a court upheld a 20-year sentence for a woman who killed a man and injured her two-month-old son in an Indiana auto accident while she was high on drugs.

The Indiana car accident victim who perished was a former American Legion post commander, who passed away when the driver crashed head-on into his vehicle. A blood test showed five drugs present in her system, including cocaine, marijuana, and hydrocodone.
