Charles W. Jewett

Charles Jewett has been with Stewart & Stewart since the spring of 2025. His areas of focus in the personal injury arena include motor vehicle accidents as well as premise liability and dog bite cases.

Charles grew up in Zionsville, Indiana and after graduating high school, he went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from DePauw University. He then attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor.

When it comes to his work, Charles truly enjoys the legal strategy aspect of dealing with personal injury cases. From his point of view, it is always engaging to anticipate what the opposition may or may not do. When asked what he likes the most about working in the legal field, he will be quick to tell anyone that it is “Helping people during stressful situations, and ultimately, bringing down the insurance company one brick at a time.”

In his spare time, Charles enjoys walking his dogs and going to the movies. He’s unquestionably a big movie guy, so you don’t want to go up against him in movie trivia. The same can be said about going up against him in a personal injury case. Charles also enjoys spending time with his wife and family, and after having lived in Japan for a decade, he loves everything about the Japanase culture.
