Stephen Thompson joined Stewart & Stewart in 2015. He focuses his legal practice on personal injury cases.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Mr. Thompson graduated magna cum laude from Wabash College in 2007, with a bachelor’s degree in religion and a minor in political science. As an undergraduate, he served as editor-in-chief of Legalis, his school’s pre-law journal, and was recognized with distinction on his senior comprehensive exam.

Mr. Thompson went on to study law at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he participated in the Sherman Minton Moot Court competition and his school’s trial team. While in law school, he gained experience working at the City of Indianapolis Corporation Counsel in 2008 and the State of Indiana Attorney General’s office in 2009.

After earning his J.D. in 2010, Mr. Thompson was admitted to practice before all Indiana State courts, the Northern and Southern U.S. District Courts of Indiana, and the Southern District of Indiana U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
