A man was killed when his vehicle collided with a police car in an Indianapolis auto accident, reports the Indy Star.

The Police officer was driving a patrol car east on 82nd street when it collided with a car on Springwater drive. According to police, the driver of the vehicle pulled in front of the patrol car. The patrol car tried to avoid the vehicle, but crashed into the driver side, causing the Indiana auto accident.

The victim in the Indianapolis car accident was a 79-year-old man.
