WTRH reports that a pregnant woman has been injured in a hit-and-run Indianapolis auto accident.
The Indianapolis auto accident happened when the woman was crossing the intersection at Elder and Maryland and was struck by a pick-up truck.
The truck turned right onto Elder Avenue and dragged the woman 100 feet. The driver stopped the car to remove the woman from under the vehicle and then fled the scene.
The woman was taken to the hospital where her baby was delivered through an emergency C-section. The baby is doing well, and the mother is now recovering from injuries suffered in the Indianapolis auto accident.
Police are looking for a suspect who has been named a person of interest in this case.
Do you think the suspect should face double charges for injuries to both the mother and baby in this Indianapolis auto accident?
