Nancy Koger’s daughter was born with permanent brain damage after a certified nurse midwife failed to understand her baby’s fetal heart distress. Stewart & Stewart is handling medical malpractice claims on behalf of both families following allegations that the state’s largest health system, Indiana University Health and HealthNet, was illegally billing doctors rates for certified nurse midwives to handle high-risk pregnancies.
