Two motorcyclists die in Fort Wayne motorcycle accident

According to The Journal Gazette, an Indiana motorcyclist and his passenger were killed in a Fort Wayne motorcycle accident.

The motorcyclist caused the Fort Wayne motorcycle accident when he drifted out of his lane and into a guardrail. The man’s motorcycle then spun into another motorcycle, knocking its rider into a ditch.

When the Indiana police arrived at the scene of the accident, both the motorcyclist and his passenger were dead.

The other involved in the Indiana motorcycle accident was treated at the scene and released by officials.

Man pleads guilty in connection with fatal South Bend truck accident

An Indiana man pleaded guilty to killing an Indiana woman in a recent South Bend truck accident.

The Indiana woman was killed in the South Bend truck accident after the truck driver hit her while she was standing outside of her vehicle on the side of the highway.

According to The South Bend Tribune, the truck driver’s BAC (blood alcohol content) at the time of the South Bend truck accident was nearly three times Indiana’s legal limit for driving.

The man could face up to eight years in prison for his role in the South Bend truck accident.

Indiana family wins Indianapolis medical malpractice case

A jury recently awarded an Indiana family $3.7 million for their Indianapolis medical malpractice lawsuit.

According to The Indianapolis Star, the family filed the Indianapolis medical malpractice case after their daughter was deprived of oxygen during her birth due to delays in the delivery. The family claims the Indianapolis medical malpractice accident caused their daughter to have cerebral palsy.

Although the family was awarded $3.7 million in the Indianapolis medical malpractice suit, Indiana medical malpractice cases are limited therefore; the amount of money awarded to the family will be adjusted.

Two killed in Gary car accident

Two Indiana people were killed in a Gary car accident after their vehicle collided with an Amtrak train.

The Associated Press reported that the victims in the Gary car accident ignored the warning of the oncoming train and drove around the flashing, crossing gate. As they crossed the tracks, the Amtrak that was traveling at approximately 79 miles per hour struck their vehicle.

None of the passengers aboard the Amtrak were injured in the Gary car accident.

Teacher killed in Carmel motorcycle accident

An Indiana woman was killed in a Carmel motorcycle accident after she crashed her Harley Davidson into a Honda CRV.

The Indianapolis Star reported that a stray dog ran out into the road and caused the Carmel motorcycle accident. The Honda CRV stopped for the dog, but the motorcyclist didn’t have time to stop.

The Indiana woman was wearing a helmet at the time of the Carmel motorcycle accident, but she still died from a massive brain injury.

The motorcyclist killed in the Indiana accident was an American Sign Language teacher at a Carmel High School.

Basement fire leaves one with Fort Wayne burn injury

A single-story house fire is the cause of a man’s Indiana fire and burn injury.

Several other family members were in the home when it caught fire, but were able to escape the building without a Fort Wayne fire and burn injury. However, the one Fort Wayne fire and burn victim was taken to the nearby hospital and treated for minor injuries.

According to The Journal Gazette, it took firefighters approximately eleven minutes to extinguish the fire that occurred in a bedroom in the basement of the Indiana house.

The cause of the Fort Wayne fire is still under investigation.

One dead in Indiana truck accident

Police are still investigating an Indiana truck accident that killed an Indianapolis man.

The Indianapolis Star reported that an Indianapolis man lost control of his Honda Civic, hit a pick-up truck and a guardrail, and then slid in front of a semi-truck. The semi-truck crashed into the man’s car and then landed in a ditch on the side of the Interstate on top of the car.

Both drivers of the pickup truck and the semi-truck were uninjured in the three-vehicle truck accident.

Police said slick roads could have been a factor in the Indiana truck accident.

Kindergarteners injured in Decatur auto accident

On its way to an Indiana elementary school, a Decatur Township bus overturned onto its side when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus crossed the southbound lane of traffic and slid into a ditch on the side of the road.

The Indianapolis Star reported that seven kindergarten students and the bus driver suffered minor injuries, mostly bumps and bruises, in the Indianapolis auto accident.

The cause of the Indiana auto accident is still under investigation.
