The Northwest Indiana Times reports that an employee at a steel factory was injured in a Gary plant accident, which could lead to Indiana workers’ compensation.

The accident happened when the transfer car he was operating left the track. The man suffered injuries in the Gary workplace accident and was treated locally before being transferred to a Chicago hospital.

The man may be eligible for Indiana workers’ compensation, as this covers employees who are injured in the course of employment.
