Indiana math teacher dies in Gary truck accident

According to The Post-Tribune, a popular math teacher at Roosevelt High School was killed in a Gary truck accident.

The Gary truck accident occurred when a tractor-trailer plowed into the back of the teacher’s minivan, which was parked at a red light. The impact of the truck hitting the teacher’s vehicle pushed her minivan into the car in front of her.

Passengers in the teacher’s minivan at the time of the Gary truck accident were taken to a hospital in Fort Wayne and treated for their auto accident injuries.

A crisis intervention has been setup for students at Roosevelt High School for students to cope with the death of their teacher.

A fleeing driver causes Gary auto accident

An Indiana man faces numerous criminal charges, including driving without a valid license, resisting law enforcement, and traffic offenses after he tried to flee the police and caused a Gary auto accident.

The Gary auto accident happened after a police officer tried to pull the driver over. The driver fled the officer, crossed an intersection, crashed into another vehicle, and stopped after impacting a nearby house.

According to The Gary Post-Tribune, the driver who caused the Gary auto accident was taken to Methodist Hospitals Northlake campus for treatment of numerous injuries.

Man sentenced for girlfriend’s death caused by Indianapolis fire and burn injury

An Indianapolis man was sentenced to forty-five years in prison for setting his girlfriend on fire during a backyard argument.

The woman who died from the Indianapolis fire and burn injuries suffered third degree burns over 80 percent of her body. According to The Indianapolis Star, the Indianapolis fire and burn injury occurred after the man poured gasoline over his girlfriend’s body and ignited it.

Before the judge announced his sentence, the man apologized for the role he played in the Indianapolis fire and burn injury. After his sentencing, the man also said he would appeal his conviction.

Motorcyclist injured in Anderson motorcycle accident

According to The Herald Bulletin, a motorcyclist suffered severe injuries after his Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a sports utility vehicle.

The cause of the Anderson motorcycle accident has yet to be determined by police officials, but they believe the sun may be to blame.

The driver of the SUV and her three-year-old toddler were uninjured in the Anderson motorcycle accident, however, the motorcyclist was treated at a nearby hospital for road rash and a neck injury.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the Anderson motorcycle accident.
