WNDU reports that a vehicle ran a red light and caused a South Bend auto accident.

The South Bend auto accident happened at the intersection of Logan and Jefferson. The driver of a car ran a red light and struck an SUV.

The impact of the South Bend auto accident caused the SUV to flip over on its side. The rescue crews had to extricate the three people in the SUV. Paramedics reported that those inside the SUV were expected to recover.

The driver who ran the red light received a citation from the police after the South Bend auto accident.
