Four people were injured in a Gary auto accident when a man accused of drunk driving collided with another vehicle, the Post-Tribune reports.
Witnesses said the driver of a Cadillac was driving erratically, and when he switched lanes he struck a sports utility vehicle, causing the Gary auto accident.
The SUV swerved to the center, struck the median and rolled over. The driver of the Cadillac swerved to the right and struck the right lane barrier.
Four people in the SUV were taken to the hospital following the Gary auto accident. The driver of the Cadillac failed a blood alcohol test, registering almost twice the legal limit. Two passengers in the vehicle fled the scene of the Gary auto accident.
